This is a steel camshaft gear locking tool for timing belt work on VW and Audi EA211 (04E) engines, including the 1.0L, 1.2T, 1.4T, 1.5T and 1.6L versions. It has a seven-tooth block that engages both camshaft gears so they stay at top dead center while the belt is off, and a chrome D-handle that you push in to lock and pull out after the new belt is installed.
