This is a 6-in-1 copper tube expander for HVAC, refrigeration, and air conditioning repair. It has six tapered steps marked 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4, and 7/8 inch, and each step widens copper tube to fit its matching size. The tool has a 1/4-inch hex shank that fits a corded or cordless drill. To use it, deburr and clean the pipe, attach the expander to the drill, run the drill at low to medium speed, and turn it clockwise over the pipe end until it expands.
