Each sleeve has a waterproof Oxford fabric outer layer filled with thick insulation, and a hook-and-loop strap wraps around the tap and fastens it in place. A reflective green stripe runs along the side for visibility in low light. Each cover measures about 20 cm (7.9 in) by 14 cm (5.5 in). It is reusable: take it off when the weather warms and put it back on before the next cold snap.
